My initial expectations are that this book will be a
very interesting read, in the sense that it is supposed to be a collection of
memoirs that tells the story of Benjamin Franklin’s life. The book seems very appealing to me because
I’m a fan of history and this book should have a great deal of historical
context. I personally selected this book
because the book appeared to be an interesting read that seemed like it would
have lots of history intertwined in the story as it is the story of the life of
Benjamin Franklin. My anticipation for
this book is that it will talk about Benjamin Franklin’s childhood life a bit
and I really don’t know very much about his childhood. I am really hoping this book will explain that
and go into more detail on things like where he attended school and what he did
before he became an inventor, and how the things he did during his childhood
affected his future and led him to become the man he was. I have heard many good things about this book
from my brother and my dad who have both read it, my only real worry is that
this book is written in old English so I’m afraid I won’t be able to understand
some of what they are trying to say, otherwise I have no real hesitations about
reading this book. And although I have not read the book based on what I have
heard from others about it I would most likely recommend this book to my peers.
